My Review:

Slightly above average quality that’s functional at up to 32 Amps with a shorter 17ft cable.

The Level 2 EV charger by EV Pure, is a decent budget friendly way to get 32 amps flowing into your EV with decent quality and a screen for helpful info. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

      I.          Quality – It feels well made out of good, solid materials. I have other chargers that are better quality, but they’re more expensive. I’d put the overall quality in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for EV chargers and guess it should last for a while, assuming the electronics survive.

    II.          Performance – It has performed great so far with an LCD screen to display relevant information. The cables are on the thinner side versus most of the others 32 amp chargers I have. Also, it’s a little disappointing that the main cable is shorter at 17ft. Most are 20-25ft which can make a huge difference if needed or not at all, if you park close to the plug. It uses a Nema 14-50 plug only, so make sure you have one installed.

Overall, this is a solid mid-level choice that has functioned perfectly so far and can provide a great budget friendly way to get 32 amps of juice at home. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
